Hampton Roads Chapter 100 Years of Women Leaders in the Law

100 Years of Women Leaders in the Law

The year 2020 marks 100 years since the General Assembly voted to admit women to the Virginia State Bar.

Our lunch panel on January 28, 2020 celebrated this occasion with words of wisdom from Justice Cleo E. Powell, Anita Poston, and Vanessa T. Valldejuli.  It was a discussion our attendees from the local judiciary,  bar, and law school are not soon to forget.  We are honored to recognize these women as outstanding women leaders in the law.

Special thank you to our panel moderator, Dean Kimberly Van Essendelft, Regent University School of Law, and our sponsors Pender & Coward, P.C.  and Aloupas Law, PLLC  for their generous support!
