Prince William Chapter Judicial Review Panel

The VWAA will convene a  Judicial Screening Committee panel to review candidates seeking appointment to the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, Thirty-First Circuit of Virginia, as a result of the two retirement vacancies. All persons wishing to be considered for a potential vacancy on this court should also complete and return the questionnaire.

The VWAA Judicial Candidates Questionnaire may be completed online or downloaded.

Candidates must complete and submit the Questionnaire on or before November 15, 2019 either electronically, by mail or by e-mail as below. Submission instructions are contained within the questionnaire. Candidates also should submit a resume and writing sample with their candidate questionnaire. The VWAA will interview candidates on November 22, 2019 at the office of Carluzzo, Rochkind & Smith, 9300 West Courthouse Rd, Manassas, VA 20110. The 1st Annual Easter Egg Hunt and Brunch kicked off at the home of Jess and Brett Foster in Remington, VA on April 28, 2019. There were lots of hidden eggs to look for and fun treasures to uncover. A fun time for kids of all ages.


Prince William Chapter 2019 Justitia Award Call for Nominations

The Prince William County Chapter of the Virginia Women Attorney Association is considering nominations for the chapter’s 2019 Justitia Award to be presented at the Prince William County Bar Association's Dinner Dance in April. Valuation of Business Interest in Equitable Distribution CLE

The Prince William Chapter sponsored a CLE entitled Valuation of Business Interest in Equitable Distribution at PWC Judicial Center on February 8, 2019 and led by Judge Lorraine Nordlund. This 2-hour CLE provided insight to help members better prepare to present, analyze, and defend business valuations during negotiations and trial.
