Richmond Women of Achievement Reception
On June 29, 2017, the Richmond Chapter held a reception celebrating Richmond Women of Achievement: Doris H. Causey, the incoming president of the Virginia State Bar and the first African-American woman elected; and Margaret F. Hardy, the first woman elected President of the Sands Anderson Law Firm.
The Robe Becomes Her: Women Judges Share Their Pathways to the Bench
The Richmond Chapter hosted a special event on April 11, 2016 at the University of Richmond Law School featuring outstanding members of the Virginia judiciary, entitled "The Robe Becomes Her: Women Judges Share Their Pathways to the Bench. Three of our local judges, The Honorable Marilynn C. Goss, Richmond Juvenile Domestic Relations Court; The Honorable Catherine Hammon (Ret.), Henrico Circuit Court; and The Honorable Jacquline S. McClenney, Richmond General District Court were part of the informal discussion.
